So many of electronics I have use an USB plug in for charging which is fine if I always had my computer with me on trips, however there are times when it is much more convenient to use an AC outlet for charging my Shuffle, Garmin GPS, MP3 Player. The USB AC adapter works great and charges each unit without lots of extra wires or the need for a computer. It is small and compact so travels well, also.

I've ordered two units and may buy another or so for my summer home.
